Canadesk

Zendesk and Freshdesk

Terms of Use

Effective October 1, 2026

These terms cover Canadesk’s Zendesk and Freshdesk app for Stripe. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you are authorized to represent. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Free app

Canadesk does not charge for the app. Stripe, your helpdesk, your model provider and other services may charge separately. You are responsible for charges under your agreements with them. Optional AI summaries use the provider account whose key your administrator supplies.

Permitted use

You may use the app for your organization’s internal work while following these terms and applicable law. Connect only accounts you are authorized to access. Make sure the connected helpdesk user’s access is appropriate for everyone using the app. Do not use the app to bypass access controls, access another organization’s records or disrupt a service.

Check the source records

The app displays selected records and optional AI summaries. Records may be incomplete, outdated or unavailable. Summaries can be wrong. An email match alone does not prove that a ticket concerns a particular payment. Check the original records before making decisions. The app does not authorize or perform refunds, cancellations or ticket replies.

No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as-is and as available, without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, availability, uninterrupted operation or that errors will be corrected. This does not exclude any warranty or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Support and availability

The free app does not include dedicated technical support, a service-level agreement or a guaranteed response time. You may report problems and send privacy or security requests to [email protected]. Our obligations under applicable law and platform agreements still apply.

We may change, suspend or discontinue features or the app, subject to those obligations. No particular feature or future availability is promised.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Canadesk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including lost profits, lost business opportunities or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intentional misconduct, gross fault, bodily or moral injury, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing prevents you from exercising rights or bringing claims that applicable law protects.

No additional indemnity

Canadesk does not offer users an additional contractual promise to defend them or reimburse third-party claims. This does not remove obligations imposed by law or a separate binding agreement. These terms do not amend agreements with Stripe or other providers.

Privacy and third-party services

The privacy notice explains how the app processes and retains information. You must have authority to share records with the services you connect. The app does not exempt either party from applicable privacy law. A separate data processing agreement may be required. Stripe, Zendesk, Freshdesk and model providers operate under their own terms. This app is provided by Canadesk and does not imply their endorsement.

Stopping use and changes to these terms

You can stop using the app at any time. Disconnect the helpdesk before uninstalling and revoke its credential at the provider if needed. Uninstalling alone does not delete retained backend records. See the privacy notice for removal requests.

Revised terms will be posted here with an updated effective date. Where notice or consent is required by law, we will provide or obtain it. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
